Recently, four China domestic pharmaceutical manufacturers are fined over 1.2 Billion RMB by domestic authority according to its Anti-monopoly Act because they are obviously pushing their final products up prices nearly four hundred folds.
This is not the first fined list, but is the largest one in the field of pharmaceutical till now. These domestic pharmaceutical manufacturers obtained the sole agency for some exclusive APIs, usually came from abroad, then every method is taken to raise their preparation price. For example, they divided the domestic market into different sales areas;perhaps, controlled their pharmaceutical tablet output; still, established some associations to rule out competitors, etc.
In order to protect Chinese health as well as to reduce their cost of buying drugs, China relevant departments repeatedly expressed that they will focus their main energy on the drug's highest price from now on. Facing such situation, those who are interested in cooperating with China pharmaceutical manufacturers should have an overall consideration to China's Anti-monopoly Act. Thing happened has its own reason.
A young man, as a firmly gun fans, had bought 24 units of imitation guns at his 18 years birthday used his gift money from his parents. But he was caught by the local police authority just after several days. Unfortunately, he even didn't touch his lovely gifts. Then he became famous because the trial result was beyond everyone imagination around the country. The supreme court of Fujian province of China announced a life sentence that depended on his behavior of buying 24 units of imitation guns.
Interesting case is that a police officer, who secretly kept 3 units of real guns, was only trialed a sentence of 3 years prison term.
Just because seeing this judgement result, his parents began a hard complaint progress. Finally, he had gained an amended judgement, that is, from life sentence reduced to seven and half years period.
Now, we often read and watch some information on someone was fined and arrested due to they had hold some units of imitation guns. In China, if you possess some kinds of false guns, you will be a specialized households equally to live a "probation" style life.
There are every then and every now to emerge some super rich men cause peoples interests, and other billionaires disappeared from public view. Sometimes, even a few of them are put into jail. To them, greedy is one of their main failure reasons.
Greedy is like virus to erode their rational mind, and leads them to do some foolish decisions. Zhongtian Liu used to be Asia aluminum tycoon, because he insisted on his blind expansion so that to gain the world's biggest title in the aluminum field, finally, his products cannot suit for the market change, soon became a zombie debtor.
Greedy can steal man's grateful heart. Once to be domestic instant noodle king, Zhongwang Wang, in order to defeat his fellow-townsman as well as his master worker, he rapidly increased production lines in different provinces. As lacking of crop breed diverse, he quickly declared bankruptcy within 3 years when he gained his glory king title.
Both men have their similar life experience: that is, at the young time, they suffered a hard living condition; then, depended on their own unique perspective, they obtained their super wealth in an avalanche effect. But they are not able to keep an inner peace, under the greedy influence, they are the same as the proverbs saying: the more one have, the more one desire. Although trained in all kinds of hard life, they began well and ended bad. So, people should be on alart for greedy.
My sounding proud thing is that I have a good shinning black hair admired by around people. The day before yesterday, I suddenly found out my some hair had appeared grey. It was beyond my expectation. As a black hair lover, I want to take some treatments to turn them into black. Of course, the best way is to depend on browsers.
I began to search either medical methods or traditional popular therapies. After that, the most annoying thing is when you turn on your phone, it always first pumped into some information about how to transform the grey hair into black. I understand these results are the results of computers algorithms.
The phenomenon of algorithms caused my association with people's life experiences. If you pay more attention to your friend's opinion--- to your coworker's judgments--- to your neighbor's reaction --- to your city people's attitude... then you are living in some kind of others algorithms.
Algorithms can be like a " prison " to bind your mind. If you want to have a good vision, you have to manage your best to breakthrough those algorithms.
ICU ward can cost 10000RMB each day averagely in China. To enter it means to enter capital hell. If a patient lies on the ICU ward bed over one month, at least 85% family should shoulder a debt to pay off. Whether they can be saved lift successfully or not, their family will be embedded an intolerable burden for future life.
Well obviously different as night and day, those who are senior government officials can be placed in it care-freely. A report caused whole domestic people interests is a seventy six years old man, who used to be a higher officer, hold in ICU ward for four years and spent a medical treatments fees over ten million. Finally, as he past away, his behavior left some things for normal people to daydream: sometimes ICU ward can be a heaven place to enter in for some peoples.

There are three popular games throughout large and middle cities in China, that is, massage rooms, majiang playing houses, and game centers. If you indulge yourself into one of them, you are in the direction of poverty returning road.
If you are following one of these things, you are also facing a dangerous trend to returning poverty: you are buying a business shop for your family to inherit for future; buying and selling stocks and funds in order to gain profits easily; frequently visiting health centers for your longevity life.
Of course, there are many other "set menus" for ordinary people to waste their time and money.
For me, I am our of touching those things edges, because I am determined to become a good international trade man. So, according to my city's four obvious seasons, I often ride my old bike in spring, swim in summer, climb mountains in autumn, and ice skating in winter. As my saying goes in my heart: good habits is the trusting capital. I am out of those ordinary people, and you can credit me in your heart.
Why the first and also the last deal is widely growing especially in tourism business in China.
As a tourist, you know that you should keep an eye for those not clever tricks played by vendors, such as, higher price for foods, for false local souvenirs, for concoct various pretexts, etc., you are usually meeting some annoying things, for example, under beautiful brand picture is product fault; among a box of dozen piece of fabrics, one or two is not an ideal thing. Then you can find those vendors are not care about your complaints, they only pay attention to the way: my selling means my gaining. They want to obtain maximum benefits in a limited time.
Nobody takes care about your appeal, even those officers. Sometimes, your appeal is luckily successful, the punish accepted by vendors is symbolic fine: much cry and little done. The reason is: first, you should know that in China the whole land belongs to government, so the local land is the local government right, and actually felled into local official's hands; second, either one who are officials relatives or people who had associated relationship with officials can gain certificates to handle those beautiful landscape activities. Third, if those officials took place changes, it means there are some new people to replace those existing vendors. Naturally, today's vendors want to effectively use the time slot, they have no time to concern if you are interested in coming for the next time.
One auction's hammer business is also suiting to tourism in China, but the hammer is the vendors own hammer. Before, those tricks are directed against domestic travelers, now it seemed turning to abroad visitors.
On a winter morning in December 2010, with the sun shining brightly and the air fresh and clean, it was a perfect day for travel.
Eighteen fearless students from Fudan University, which is one of China's most prestigious institutions of high learning, decided to embark on a great adventure over the weekend.
They boarded a train bound for Huanshan mountain. Despite the withering of all things and the low temperature, they were undeterred by their enthusiasm "go deep into the mountains, knowing well that there are 'tigers' there".
They headed towards an undeveloped area. Although some in the group had experience in climbing wild mountains, most of them were inexperienced and lacked awe for the unknown dangers. They had prepared in advance with GPS locator and paper maps, but these preparations were clearly insufficient for conquering this unknown mountains.
Along a small path, the exploring began. Everyone was very so excited with the scenery along the way that it was hard for them to tear themselves away from those incredibly beautiful area where they were exploring spots being different from ordinary tourist spots. Because it had not been developed by humans, it retained the pristine appearance of the original forest. After a while, the roads were full of thorns and became more and more difficult to traverse. The leader had to clear the way for the others as while as providing the correct direction. Moreover, the steep mountain roads consumed a huge amount of energy for each student, and they gradually began to feel exhausted. Some couldn't go on, so they decided to rest by a steam.
Unfortunately, the holder of GPS locator accidentally dropped it into the water. In the confusion, although they promptly retrieved it from the water, as you can see, it was already damaged and could no longer provide them with directional guidance. At this point, if they had turned back and abandoned the rest of the adventure, perhaps the following tragedy would not have occurred. However, they chose the wrong path and continued on.
As non-professional adventurers, relying solely on the paper map in their hands, they were obviously unable to judge the direction well. In no time, they lost their way. To make matters worse, it started drizzling, plus the biting cold wind whistled through the mountains, making them feel even colder. Their eyes were filled with despair at this moment. How nice it would have been if they hadn't challenged on this adventure and were lying in their warm dormitories playing with their phones, eating whatever they wanted. But now regret was useless. They also knew that they could not escape from this predicament by their own efforts. They stared each other desperately. Fortunately, amidst the misfortunes, one of them managed to send a distress signal which described their approximate location and ugliness situation to a relative through text messages.
After receiving the news, the relative promptly reported it to the police. Soon, under the deployment of the city leaders, more than 200 police officers and firefighters from the Huanshan Public Security Bureau formed a rescue team and rushed to rescue the 18 adventurers who were stranded helplessly. As a member of the rescue team, Zhang Ninghai joined in the search for those stuck students.
When the rescue team entered Huangshan, the sky still drizzled, making the already cold night even colder. However, time means life, the rescue team continued to search between the mountain roads without any rest. Several hours later, the rescue team led by Zhang Ninghai found the 18 adventurers, who were trapped in bad condition without any emergency food or warm clothing. Considering the condition of the trapped students, Zhang Ninghai decided to personally lead them and escort them to a safe area.
Due to the rain washed, the road was becoming more muddy and slippery, and the weather had become more pitch black with visibility almost zero. Continuing to walk under these conditions could easily lead to danger. Still, the return routine had to pass through a high-risk area, where the slope was steep and a slight misstep could lead
to a fall. Zhang Ninghai looked at the trembling students and knew they were afraid to move forward. Holding a torch, he took the initiative and walked in front, reassuring them: "I'll lead the way, just follow me, don't be afraid."
However, no one expected that this would become Zhang Ninghai's final words to the world. As the rain grew heavier, his vision gradually blurred, making it difficult for him to see if the road ahead was flat. When passing through a narrow thicken, tragedy struck. Zhang Ninghai stepped on empty space and fell from the high mountainside before he could react. The next morning, when other rescuers found him again, all they saw was a cold, lifeless body. In order to rescue these 18 students, Zhang Ninghai lost his precious 24-year-old life forever.
Beyond normal people imagination, these students did not think about rescuing Officer Zhang first, but clamored to be taken out the dangerous place. Obviously, at that moment, they were only worried about whether they could escape alive, and din't care about the life or death of others. Other rescue team members had no choice but to take them out of the deep mountains and old forest, all eighteen students from Fudan University's expedition team were rescued successfully.
After being rescued, they showed no guilt for Officer Zhang's sacrifice, who was personnel to save them. Even without waiting to find Officer Zhang's body, they quickly boarded the train back to their Alma mater.
Their selfish behavior sparked huge public outrage, so many condemning them as "eighteen donkeys of Fudan University". Perhaps exams can filter out academically weak students, but they can't filter out morally corrupt individuals.
Peking Opera is known as the national essence of China, and the fact is that these national essences also love America.
In 1988, Qi Shufang led 30 actors from the Shanghai Peking Opera Company to the United States to perform the classic Peking Opera work "Taking Tiger Mountain by Strategy". However, after the wonderful performance, she and her team of 30 actors refused to return to China again. Why did she made such an unexpected decision?
At that time, an invitation from the United States completely changed Qi Shufang's life. One day in 1988, an American-born Chinese boss who was very nostalgic
for Peking Opera from his hometown Shanghai, specially inbvited the Shanghai Peking Opera Company to perform in the United States. The leadership of the Shanghai Peking Opera Company also saw it as a good opportunity to promote Chinese Peking Opera culture over the world, so the decided to accepted this invitation. However, due to restrictions on the number of people going abroad, only 30 actors could go to the United States for this time. As Qi Shufang is the leading actress of the program, she was naturally made onto the troupe list, while her husband, Gong Guotai, out of a desire to give more young actors the opportunity to broaden their horizons, voluntarily gave up this good chance, and letting his wife to go to the United States alone.
What he did not expect was that this decision not only caused him to lose his beloved wife but also plunged him into a fierce whirlpool of pubic opinion. According to the agreed time, his wife led a team of 30 actors to the United States and gave a very perfect performance. The local Chinese were all immersed in the shock and tough feeling brought by their fascinating show.
Unexpectedly, just after the excellent performance, a shocking piece of news broke out in Shanghai that shocked the whole country. That is, all 30 actors who went to the United States for the performance refused to return to China. When this news came out, as you can imagine, the least willing to believe it was her husband, Gong Guotai.
He believed that he and his wife had been together for a long time, so sharing weal and woe that his wife would never abandon him for the prosperity of America. As quickly as possible, he contacted her for the first person, who fearing that she had been coerced into staying in the United States. But the calm voice of her on the phone, it was obvious that she was not being coerced. He clearly remembered what she said: she would like to wash bowels not to return to China, and advised him to forge about her and to start a new life. At that moment, he did not give up easily, he persuaded his wife even if she did not care about their happiness and enjoyment marriage, she should consider their parents, who after learning the news, the two elderly people spent all days in tears, immersed in missing their outstanding daughter. However, whether it was love or family affection, it was unable to keep her changing her mind. Obviously, she had already decided to start her new life in America.
To her, the American life was not smooth sailing at first. So to speak, she was blinded by the the enthusiastic feedback from the first excellent performance, thinking that she could develop in America by her wonderful performances alone. However, due to the large cultural differences between China and the United States, the local Americans did not appreciate Peking Opera at all. So even though she led her troupe to have traveled over one hundred towns in the United States, and performed over one thousand shows, they did not resonate with the American audience at all. Her dream of making money in America depending on Peking Opera seemed shattered.
The team quickly fell into financial troubles and could not sustain their livelihood. It was even a luxury to have a place to sleep at rooms night. The more dangerous the more forward. She continued to lead the team to perform on the streets. Before long, some actors couldn't bear this kind of life and chose to leave the team to find other ways to make a living.
However, Qi Shufang's persistence also received the blessing of the goddess of luck. Peking Opera began to slowly gain popularity in some places in America. Whats more, a pianist named Yin Chengzong also reached out to her as well as others.
With them help, she and others finally obtained U.S. green cards, and their lives gradually stabilized. At the same time, her emotional life also changed. Although her husband, Gong Guotai was still waiting for her to return home in China, she chose to marry her colleague Ding Meikui, forgetting her eight-year marriage with Gong Guotai and embracing another man.
With her emotions settled, she began to work hard again. Having the aid of various parties, she founded the first overseas Peking Opera troupe in the United States, named
the "Qi Shufang Peking Opera Troupe'. This Peking Opera troupe not only attracted Peking Opera artists living abroad to join but also gained the attention of the U.S. government, which specially provided tax benefits to them. As the strength of the Qi Shufang Peking Opera Troupe gradually grew, its reputation also became popular.
Later, she would lead the team to perform regularly in over one hundreds towers in the United States. Their exquisite performances gradually impressed American audiences, and they successfully entered the mainstream of the American art world. Their status rose stably, and she even became the first Chinese artist to receive the
highest achievement award in American traditional arts.
Years later, she recalled the situation, saying, 'At that time, except for a few Chinese audiences, there were basically no other audiences. some were just local Americans
who came to see the novelty. After watching for a while, they lost interest and left.
Qi Shufang was born into a family of opera singers. Her three brothers were all Peking Opera actors. Especially, her sister-in-law was Zhang Meijuan, who known as the "First Female Martial Role in Chinese Peking Opera." Zhang spared no effort to guide she and help her successfully enter the opera school. In the days that followed, Zhang also passed on her own exquisite skills to Qi Shufang, so that she can quickly stand on stage and perform on her own strength. Having received Zhang's truly elegant teachings, plus she was indeed very talented, at
the age of sixteen, she performed in traditional show "Three Battles of Zhang Yue'e,' and her delicate performance won praise from the Peking Opera master Mei Langfang, watching it at the present. Later, with the popular on "Three Battles of Zhang Yue'e,' she was often taken by the the Shanghai Peking Opera Company to perform abroad, at the same time, she received the most professional training. This also gave her the opportunity to play the leading role in "Taking Tiger Mountain by Strategy."
When she was young, Qi Shufang was beautiful and sang well, so she was naturally pursued by many people. However, at that time, she did not take a liking to anyone but was very interested in Gong Guotai, who was also a Peking Opera actor. The two got along very well, and they were soulmates in Peking Opera performances. Later, Gong Guotai gradually retreated behind the scenes, while she continued to shine on stage. However, the breakup of their relationship was too sudden, catching he off guard. He did not expect that one performance in America would make his once beloved wife look back at him across the sea. Many years later, Gong Guotai finally emerged from the shadow cast by Qi Shufang and chose to reestablish his family, starting his own new life.
In 2008, after a stay of 20 years performing in America, Qi Shufang, who had achieved considerable success in the United States, finally chose to return to China to visit relatives and friends. When asked why she did not return to China at that time, she also publicly responded for the first time: she proudly said that she stayed in the United States to promote Peking Opera. Because after that fine performance, many Chinese Americans expressed that they had not seen Peking Opera for over forty years and hoped that she and her team would stay to promote Peking Opera art. Then she gladly believed that she had a responsibility to stay in the United States to let more Westerners understand the Chinese national essence. She was also willing to make any contribution to the country.
Although Qi Shufang's response was very lofty, when asked by reporters whether she would restore her nationality now, without hesitation, she said that she and her husband currently have no plans to do so. This frankly answer makes her previous response seem inexplicably weak.
It seems that the ultimate destination of Chinese patriots is America. Although life is always unpredictable, justice lies in the hearts of the people.
A third-year Junior graduate medical student from Hunan Normal University's Medical School committed suicide at Hunan Provincial People's Hospital during her prescribed training program, sparking widespread social concern.
Her family stated that at 2:37 am on February 24, 2024, they received a call from a teacher saying their child had committed suicide and showed no signs of life. When they arrived at the funeral home, the staff refused to let them see the child, claiming it was not working hours. It was only after strong insistence from the family that they were allowed them to see the child.
The family's request to inspect the scene was also denied by the hospital. After forensic examination, it was confirmed that with a cut on the left side of carotid artery using a scalpel. The police concluded that the bathroom was locked from the inside, so likelihood of being victimized was preliminary ruled out.
According to classmates, the young doctor entered the doctors' lounge at 8:47 pm on February 23, the evening of the 14th day of the first lunar month, and never came out. On February 24, the early morning of the 15th day of the first lunar month, a classmate on duty noticed something abnormal in the bathroom and contacted the resident
doctor, who, along with security, forcibly broke the door and called the police. After the incident, on February 25, the family questioned the hospital and the school for neither taking the initiative to contact them nor having any rescue measures. On February 26, the family claimed that when they went to the hospital outpatient department to demand an explanation, the hospital leaders did not come out to comfort them, but instead arranged for security personnel to beat the relatives, resulting in one relative hitting their head on the ground and another relative's wrist being injured. On February 29, an informed person said there was a new development in the case, a suspected suicide note was found, the contents of which were heartbreaking:
"I'm really tired and want to rest. From the sixth day of the Lunar New Year until now, I haven't had a proper rest. I worked for more than 30 hours on the sixth day of the Lunar New Year without rest. But things still can't be done, they're never done. I work overtime every day, even though it's a holiday, I'm still working, working on the seventh day, working on the eighth day. I thought I could get through these few days, but it's just a vicious cycle. Endless things to do, it's impossible to finish them. Is it my fault that the department is short-staffed this month, so I deserve to do the work belong to another one or even three people alone? I thought the main purpose of regulated training students was to learn, to integrate knowledge with clinical practice, but it turns out to be a free laborer for the department. Taking patients to the transfer department, they said I didn't attend the small lectures, so it counted as absenteeism. So am I a doctor or a student? I'm so busy at work that I didn't even have lunch. The next morning, I was accused of not cleaning the office at noon. I worked overtime until dawn. I got up at 6:30 in the morning and took a taxi to the department to work overtime. Even though I had applied for leave, I still couldn't go back to rest. I had to write patient medical history, have discussions, perform lumbar punctures, write medical records, write discharges, and deal with patient matters. The patients are urging me, they all need to be discharged. So what's the point of taking leave? Deduct my salary for a day, and then continue working from early morning to night. Continue working overtime the next day. So what's the point of regulated training student? It's to be arbitrarily manipulated by others like a horse. If I want to get a regulated training certificate, I have to obey. Yes, at 26 years old, it's hard for the body to die suddenly. Even on the verge of sudden death, as long as I don't die, I have to work like a horse. Even machines need regular maintenance. I really can't hold on anymore. Clearly, I applied for leave yesterday; clearly, my heart is about to jump out; clearly, I cough so hard that my chest hurts; clearly, I feel chest tightness and can't even wear a bra, but there are still things that can't be done and I can't go back to rest. Even if I take leave, I don't have time to see a doctor. What's the point of taking leave? Deduct my salary for a day, and then continue working from early morning to night. Continue working overtime the next day. So what's the point of taking leave? It's ridiculous. What's terrible is that even if I take leave, I don't know if they will find various excuses to prevent me from passing the regulated training this month, and after taking leave, I still have to come back to work such shifts. Then let's end it early. In this world, there is no fairness. Blame myself for being an unqualified horse, unable to hold on. I'm sorry, Mom and Dad, for the kindness of bringing me up. I'll repay you in the next life. I'm also sorry for my mentor, I know that regulated training is not something you can control, it's just that we were still talking about finding a job, talking about graduation, everything was so beautiful, but I don't want to see it anymore."
She was a 25-year-old girl. Looking at her past photos, she was so beautiful, lively, and cheerful. How did she end up like this? Facing this news, I felt uncomfortable, painful to the point of numbness and tingling, tears flowing uncontrollably, almost losing all my sense, just staring blankly in the dark. What a beautiful life, what a beautiful time, cruelly gone, it's really heartbreaking!
Low wages, heavy workload, and great pressure have crushed many regulated training students. Suicides and sudden deaths like this is not an isolated cases!
In early August 2023, a 25-year-old regulated training female students named Wu Li who had only been working for three days when she committed suicide by jumping off a building at the affiliated Stomatological Hospital of Zunyi Medical University in Guizhou, attracting the attention of netizens. Before the incident, the doctor complained to her boyfriend, saying, "Can't get off work," "No one is mentoring in regulated training," "My heart is in a panic."
On March 30, 2018, according to The Paper, a regulated training students in the respiratory department of a hospital in Zhenjiang collapsed and died suddenly after completing a 14-hour night shift. He was a second-year graduate student. Before the incident, he had complained several times about frequent overtime working schedule
during his rotation in the hospital.
In September 2017, according to Qilu Evening News, in a hospital in Shandong, a regulated training anesthesiologist was found dead in the doctors' lounge of the operating room, suspected of injecting himself with propofol used for anesthesia. It was understood that he had been in the regulated training for three years, unable to bear the burden, hopeless in life, and under great pressure at work and in life. Before committing suicide, he had expressed to his friends that he never wanted to be a doctor again in his next life. His colleague said that he worked more than ten hours a day, but his allowance was pitifully low.
On May 1, 2014, according to Doctor's Daily, a 24-year-old regulated training student at Jiangsu Provincial People's Hospital ended his young life at home due to excessive pressure.
For them, there was no room for reasoning! Daring to report, they are not letting you graduate; taking leave, not letting you graduate; and not doing it yourself cannot graduate. What kind of social phenomenon is this?
It's not just doctors who are tired, every industry is the same. Because the short-hands, there are no easy jobs for the normal staff, they are like cattle and horses, low wages, lots of work, and tortured mentally every day. If more than 10 million college graduates every year cannot fill the gap in the labor force, I think those front-line staff to learn to be lazy, there are reasons for it.
The results of the university student employment survey are out, and the top five in terms of income are: architecture, safety engineering, geological engineering, mechanical and electronic engineering, and nursing. But translated them back, the top five roughly equate to: bricklayers, security guards, coal miners, internet cafe staff, and nannies.
Student: Are there any sleeper tickets to XX?
Ticket seller: Sold out.
Student: How about hard seats?
Ticket seller: Also sold out.
Student: Are there standing tickets available?
Ticket seller: Yes, but they are not sold to students.
Student: Why not?
Ticket seller: The Railway Ministry regulated: this year's policy is that no a student is allowed to stand all the way to go their home...
The college student employed by the company is very meticulous and conscientious in his work. On his first day, he spent an hour cleaning a birdcage and two hours cleaning a fish tank. Then he asked the boss, "Is there anything else to do?"
The boss replied, "Take the turtle for a walk, Please!"
A graduate had just went to Shanghai to accept an interview for a job. In the first round of the interview, the interviewer asked questions in English. The graduate, feeling shy, said, "I just arrived in Shanghai and I'm not very familiar with the Shanghai dialect. Could you please speak Mandarin?" The interviewer was so shocked that he sat down
on the ground with a loud bang...
Due to the high unemployment rate and difficulty in finding a job, a college student searched for a long time but couldn't find a work. One day, while wandering the streets, he suddenly saw someone fall from the top of a construction site. He hurriedly ran to the foreman and asked, "Can I take over the job of the person who just fell?"
The foreman said, "No, his job has already been taken over." "By whom?" he asked. "By the person who pushed him down!"
A diploma only indicates that you have spent time at a university. It's like the sleeping berths in Tsinghua and Peking Universities are soft sleepers, the first-tier universities are hard sleepers, the second-tier universities are hard seats, and other universities are standing tickets. Everyone gets on and gets off at the same place. Those outside the train can only see the speeding train, and they may think the people inside it are remarkable. But as for what you did in those four years, what you learned, and what you accomplished, only you know that best.
The purpose of education is to provide an opportunity for people from the lower strata of society to enter the upper echelons through their hard work, and to change their destiny by the college entrance examination. So in the past, college students were a family's wealth, but now most of them are a burden to their family.
Mom A: I'm really worried. Every time my son who is in college writes home and asks for money. I really don't know what he needs so much money for.
Mom B: I'm even more worried. My college daughter never asks for money from home. I really don't know where she gets money from!
Once upon a time, a student was preparing to pre-select courses for the next semester. However, this time, the system was a bit different. Its content was as follows: "Hello, this is XX University. Please enter your student ID and press the pound key. To drop out, press 5; to take a leave of absence, press 6; to resume studies, press 7." Out of curiosity, the student pressed "5," and suddenly heard the system say, "Dropout successful." The student's face changed dramatically. However, another glimmer of hope appeared in his mind. Didn't he just hear that to resume studies, he should press "7"? So, he pressed "7," only to hear the system say, "Sorry, only students of this university are allowed to use this system."
Remember when I was in college, I accompanied my goddess to get an abortion during the vacation.
The doctor asked, "Are you the child's father?"
I nodded embarrassedly.
The doctor asked again, "Are you sure?"
I looked at my goddess's pleading eyes and said firmly, "Of course, I'm sure!"
The doctor immediately slapped me. I covered my face with scratches and asked, "Why did you hit me?"
My goddess then grabbed the doctor's hand and said, "Dad, that's enough. He's a good guy!"
When I first started college life, I wanted to lose weight.
My dad suggested, "Buy a more expensive, smaller pair of pants and keep it where you can see it every day. It will motivate you to lose weight."
It sounded reasonable, so I spent over 500 buying a pair of pants. However, after a long time, I still couldn't lose weight. And now, that pair of pants is being worn by my dad. It feels like he played a big game to me.
It is the final exam review time in a college, the lecturer walks into the classroom and says to the students, "This year, the school has decided that we can't highlight key points anymore!" Upon hearing this, the students sigh.
The teacher continues, "Alright, everyone, take out your books. Let's highlight the non-key points."
A college student is on a boat and asks the boatman, "Have you ever been to college?"
The boatman is taken aback and says, "No."
The college student says, "Then you've wasted half of your life. Have you ever been to America?"
The boatman says, "No."
The college student replies, "Then you've wasted another half of your life."
The boatman asks, "Can you swim?"
The college student says, "No."
The boatman scoffs and says, "Then you've reached the end of your life."

The owner of a small restaurant specializing in cucumber side dishes had goods worth of 15 yuan. Due to the local administrative supervision bureau stating that their cucumber side dishes did not meet hygiene standards, they were fined 5,000 yuan to him. However, considering that he cooperated with the investigation, voluntarily made corrections, and did not cause serious harm to customers, and also considering this was his first violation, the administrative supervision bureau decided to confiscate the illegal proceeds of 15 yuan, and imposed a fine of 5,000 yuan on him.
The China Construction Second Engineering Bureau Co., Ltd., a large state-owned enterprise, reported that its an annual profit reached to 200 billion yuan. However, by the end of 2023, they had owed 53 migrant workers a total of 1,402,600 yuan in wages. Many people wonder why the fine was only 2,000 yuan to this large sate-owned enterprise. Is it because they owed wages to migrant workers other than big boss?
Penalty of 47.5 million yuan may seem like a huge sum to us, but for Xu Jiayin, who received 8 billion in dividends paid over past two years, it's just a drop in the bucket. Xu has already transferred his money overseas, so after paying the 475 million fine, he still made a net profit of 79.53 billion. Additionally, his company's turnover is 2.58 trillion yuan, and the fines they could receive only amount to 4.75 billion yuan. In any case, as a national labor model, Mr. Xu is really a win-win winner.
In Minhou County, Fuzhou City, Fujian Province China, Mr. Zhang bought 70 catties (about 35 kg) of celery from his neighbor and then sold it to a vegetable wholesaler, making a total profit of 14 yuan. It sounds like a very ordinary transaction, right? However, this matter ended up in court, and Mr. Zhang was fined a whopping amount of100,000 yuan for this deal!
Here's what happened: the celery Mr. Zhang bought was later found to have pesticide residues exceeding the standard. The Municipal Supervision Bureau deemed this matter "very serious" and issued Mr. Zhang a fine of 50,000 yuan. Feeling wronged, Mr. Zhang refused to pay the fine. As a result, the Municipal Supervision Bureau added another 50,000 yuan to his penalty, making it a total of 100,000 yuan, and applied for compulsory enforcement by the court.
Fortunately, the court rejected the Supervision Bureau's application in the end.
In 2017, after living a life of working and studying for nine and a half years, I concentrated on preparing for three months and finally got admitted to the Central Academy of Fine Arts, ranking 8th nationwide. Due to my previous job is a security guard at the academy, it is a so novel thing in its entrance examination history that caused many media interests, they are not only interviewed me, and invited me to participate in variety shows on television. From then on, I gained the title of "inspiring security guard" and became a role model in mainstream publicity.
Li Cheng holds a simple belief shared by many of his peers in China: that going to famous college is the key to changing fate and crossing social strata, which motivated him to strive for success. He has shared some inspirational quotes in some interviews, such as "With dreams, efforts will come true" and "I work hard, I fear no one!" and "aiming to become a pride of this era."
I am from Hengyang, Hunan, born in a rural mud house in the 1980's . When I was very young, I wanted to be a painter. I still clearly remembered my father used to say to me, "Be whatever you want to be, and excel in it." At the age of 4, I celebrated the New Year with my grandmother at my uncle's house. Lying on the balcony of my uncle's house, I watched the cars coming and going, and suddenly wanted to draw them: the wide streets, the vehicles passing by, some parked on the roadside, and some running on the road. As I completed some of them , unexpectedly, my grandmother said I drew them vividly. During those days, my uncle also taught me how to write. After writing on paper, I copied a painting on the door, which was Xu Beihong's horse picture. At that time, I hadn't even started kindergarten yet, but I could draw objects realistically. The place where I drew was the wall of the old house—the part of the mud wall near the ground, which was plastered with a little cement and very smooth, suitable for drawing. My mother was a tailor who needed to draw and sketch when making clothes, and she was also good at drawing. When she noticed my interest, she often taught me how to draw on the wall with charcoal, for example, drawing watermelons, apples, and bananas.
The first time I heard about the Central Academy of Fine Arts was when I was about to graduate from elementary school. My math teacher told us that his neighbor was offering art classes, so I went to meet this person. It was a middle school art teacher in his 30's, who recruited 3 students during the summer vacation and taught us in his dormitory. The teacher charged a low tuition fee but taught us everything. I learned sketching, coloring, calligraphy, art fonts, photography, and even antiques there. The first collection I saw was a silver dollar he took out from his suitcase. The teacher taught us all the knowledge he knew.
One day, the teacher told us a story. He had a classmate who took the entrance exam for the Central Academy of Fine Arts for 6 years successfully but still didn't get in. Although his family didn't want him to continue, he firmly insisted on taking the exam and eventually cut off ties with his family and ran away from home.
I was very shocked, thinking that this "Central Academy" was so amazing and magical that it could drive someone to madness. That day, I made up my mind that I had to get into the Central Academy of Fine Arts.
In 2005, I passed the art talent exam and got into Hengshan No.4 High School, a key high school in the city, to continue studying painting. In my freshman year, senior brother Yang Kai's portfolio was circulated among classmates. He was two grades above me and came from a wealthy family. He went to Beijing for further study and came back, turning his paintings into photos for an album, which also included his autobiography:
"Ten years have passed in the blink of an eye, and I have lived through the 18th spring and autumn of my life." When I finished reading the first sentence, I thought it was well written and copied it down. I still remember some passages: "Arriving in Beijing, I got off the train and didn't go anywhere, didn't buy food or find accommodation. I went straight to the Central Academy of Fine Arts on South Huajia Road. I was holding a lot of luggage, squatting down at the gate of the Central Academy of Fine Arts, looking at the gray building. I didn't even dare to open my eyes. I felt that everyone going in and out exuded a kind of fairy air. Each of them had a confidence in their eyes, unlike us exam takers, whose eyes were full of expectations and confusion. I was bluntly defeated by them
He depicted the Central Academy of Fine Arts so vividly, and I was deeply influenced. That was the second time I heard about the Central Academy. This description strengthened my belief that I wanted to get into the Central Academy of Fine Arts in my life, without considering any other options.
In 2008, two months before the Beijing Olympics, I took the college entrance exam but failed. In the following two years, I still didn't get into the Central Academy of Fine Arts (CAFA). After failing three times in 2010, I felt that my ability was not enough, and unlike my senior brother's family, I didn't have the opportunity to study in Beijing. I began to realize that if I continued to take the exam, it would increase the burden on my parents. So, I joined Foxconn in Shenzhen and became a production line worker. I knew that studying in Beijing would cost a lot of money, so I planned to work for 10 years, then saving enough money, and thus having the ability to prepare for the college entrance exam.
After working at Foxconn for a year, I was dismissed because I took too many leaves, and paid me my salary for that month and two months of compensation. Suddenly, I received 6,000 yuan, and was very happy, feeling like I had really made a fortune.
After leaving the factory, through a friend's introduction, I became an art training teacher in Hunan, with a monthly salary of 1,500 yuan, similar to what I earned at the factory. On Chinese New Year's Eve in 2011, I didn't go home for the holidays. My parents work outside all year round, and there is no one at home during the holidays. So, on the family gathering time, I bought a train ticket, directly go to Beijing and visiting CAFA.
This was my first time going to Beijing. Just like what was written in the autobiography of my senior brother when I was in high school, I took a 14-hour train ride and went straight to CAFA after arriving in Beijing. I entered from the north gate and stood in front of Building No.1, feeling nervous and trembling, as if I had come to an extremely mysterious place.I saw it and wondered this was the Central Academy of Fine Arts in my dreams. I took out paper and pen and drew a big kirin (a mythical creature) in front of the building as a souvenir. I didn't have money to stay overnight in Beijing, so I bought a train ticket back to Hunan that night.
In June 2012, when I returned to Hunan from Shanxi, I happened to have a layover time in Beijing. At five o'clock in the afternoon, I appeared at the gate of CAFA with my luggage. I asked the security guard at the gate if I could enter to have a look and come out. Since I had a lot of luggage and my clothes were dirty, so that he thought I was a migrant worker from Hunan or Beijing. Then, he suddenly asked me if I wanted a job. They were short of security guards.
I thought to myself: even if I could work as a security guard at CAFA, it would be more honor than be working in Hunan or in other places. I immediately agreed. For me, this was great fortune. From then on, I was a staff member of CAFA. Maybe I would even have the opportunity to attend classes.
I started working in June 2012, until the end of the year without sneaking into any classes. During that half year, I visited many classrooms in the school and saw signs posted saying "No Entry for Idle People." I felt like I was that "idle person" and didn't have the courage to enter and attend classes. At the time, as a security guard, I didn't have the courage to try, let alone attempt. It was only after I passed the entrance exam for CAFA that I learned that outsiders could also enter some public classrooms.
In addition, I'm not tall, only 1.63 meters. In the campus, I often feel very small. The students around me are tall and strong. Maybe it's a psychological effect, but I always feel that I am not in the same world as them, far away, too far away.
However, for the sake of my ideals, I didn't feel discouraged at all. So, I bought some books and copied drawings every day. In the first few months, I didn't stay in the guard booth. As I stood and worked, always carrying a small notebook in my pocket prepairing possibly to draw. Later, I started drawing in the duty room. Occasionally, students saw me copying, some said I drew well and encouraged me to take the exam.
During the school opening, many students asked me to help carry luggage or fetch parcels. I tried asking them, "Can I learn to draw with you?" None of them agreed. Some said they couldn't draw either, they were in the design major. Generally, people are not willing to talk to security guards, and most of them don't say a word.
Until August, at midnight, I went on the night shift to patrol the building and met Li Dawei, a graduate student majoring in oil painting. He needed help and approached me, asking, "Security guard, can you help me carry a drawing board?"
I knew instantly that an opportunity had come. I helped him and he would definitely be willing to give me some benefits.
After that, I asked Li Dawei what his major was. He told me he was a first-year graduate student majoring in oil painting. "That's amazing," I praised him, then said I wanted to learn traditional Chinese painting. Li Dawei agreed to help me something.
The next day, I went to find him. He analyzed a lot of exam strategies for me, pointed out that my style needed to change, and suggested that I study at a training center next to the school. I said I didn't have money. He gave me an idea: "Go inside and ask, say you are a security guard at CAFA, have no money to pay tuition fees, and can help them buy groceries and clean."
So, I entered the training center. At first, I worked as a security guard while also part-time studying at here. Half a year later, I quit my job and focused on studying at the training center, starting to prepare for the CAFA entrance exam again after three years.
In 2013, I passed the professional courses with a ranking of 46th, but I failed the cultural courses with only 360 points. The next year, my professional course score improved to 24th, but I still failed the cultural courses with 391 points.
In 2014, after failing the exam for the fifth time, I was attracted by a job as an art teacher with a monthly salary of 4,000 yuan. Later, I found a job in Henan with a monthly salary of 8,000 yuan, temporarily putting aside the exam.
In 2016, seven years after graduating from high school, I decided to give it another try. At the age of 27, I went back to high school to repeat my senior year. Sitting in the classroom, my classmates were more than ten years younger than me, and they thought I was a parent. There, I wholeheartedly devoted myself to studying, working hard on homework every day. After five months of repeating the year, I improved my score from 320 points to 460 points.
Eventually, in 2017, with a professional course score ranking of 8th and a cultural course score of 412 points (1 point above the admission line), I was admitted to the Chinese painting major at CAFA. I scored 92 points in sketching, the highest score that year. This exam paper was included in the "Excellent Papers of the Central Academy of Fine Arts 2017-2021." The dean wrote a comment, praising my talent and offering words of encouragement. There was only one sentence that pointed out a flaw, saying that my composition was compact. However, he even turned this around, suggesting that it could be an intentional arrangement by the author, a characteristic expression.
When I was admitted to CAFA, I was already 28 years old. Many people at this age have already graduated with a master's degree, while I had just been admitted to undergraduate studies. But I achieved the greatest happiness in my life. For a while, everyone was talking about me. I was interviewed by countless media outlets, and they gave me the nickname "Inspiring Security Guard of CAFA."
Returning to campus, I began to feel that I was similar to my classmates, as if we were all the same kind of people. There were a total of eight students admitted to the Chinese painting major, with the youngest being born in 2000. I attended classes with them and saw one classmate painting a picture of flowers and birds, with lines winding around, dense and intricate in detail. It was so detailed that it made my eyes ache. I said to him, "How did you paint this? It's too complicated!" Another person painted a small piece of flowers and grass, methodical and exquisite. I couldn't help but praise, "You are too talented." I felt that my hands were not as precise as theirs, their paintings were so detailed, it made my head spin and my scalp tingle, while mine was blurry and messy. After realizing that, I practiced hard for a while, even recorded the teacher's lectures to practice. But the gap could not be bridged, no matter how much I practiced, I was still a bit worse than other students. The only thing I think I am better than others is that I focused on studying hard for this school and this major, so I was admitted. But my professional ability is not strong.
In comparison, I found that all my classmates were better than me at painting. In addition, I also knew that these classmates had been learning Chinese painting system since childhood. Some of their parents were art teachers, some were good at calligraphy, and some were university professors—none of them came from a peasant family like me. Apart from painting, they dressed, spoke, and behaved differently from me. All exuded a sense of grace, just like what my senior brother wrote, "Emitting an immortal aura." They were better than me in everything.
Strangely, I didn't think I had to prove myself. Getting into CAFA, I was already content, and I believed that with my education, I would definitely find a good job after graduation. I didn't expect that many undergraduates are still taking postgraduate exams after graduation, and even after that, they have to take the doctoral exam, which is as difficult as the college entrance examination. Looking back now, I realize that saying I wanted to get a PhD and become a university professor was all nonsense, and it's not that simple.
Before the start of my freshman year, a training studio wanted me to do publicity for them, using me as an example. They gave me a managerial position, established a class for me, and invited my classmates to teach. I earned six to seven hundred yuan for a day of class, two days a week, and 10,000 yuan a month during winter and summer vacations. In the four years of university, except for the year of the pandemic, I worked for two years here. Over these two years, I earned more than two hundred thousand yuan. However, my class did not achieve the desired results in the end. One of the students I taught, from 2017 to 2023, was still taking the exam. The studio did not do well, couldn't attract students, and my class was discontinued during the pandemic year.
With the money I earned, I bought some expensive things: a 6,000 yuan picture album, very precious paints costing thousands of yuan, and some brushes, ink, paper, and ink-stones. I couldn't bear to use these things, I just liked them. I also bought a lot of jade, became obsessed with jade carving, and bought tools to carve by myself. Later, after watching some self-driving travel videos, I spent more than 10,000 yuan to buy a van and often went on trips on the highway.
For the graduation project, Li Cheng chose to paint two butterflies with ivy from the campus. After completing the painting, the teacher commented that it was too poor and did not meet the graduation standards. After several revisions, he barely graduated and did not receive much praise. Another teacher joked, "If you were to exhibit this painting in an art gallery, I would walk around it." This teacher liked to joke, so I didn't feel bad after hearing it. I thought it was quite good about his words.
End of four years of dreaming, he woke up to find that the booming drums he heard when he was on the list did not mean the beginning of a leap in life. Has the era of changing fate through education passed? Today's Li Cheng is still exploring. He rarely paints anymore and has returned to the world of his original social class. The gap he saw between himself and his classmates when he entered school was never bridged through his own efforts.
After graduation, I went to Shenzhen alone to start an art class, investing hundreds of thousands of yuan and borrowing a lot of money. The class lasted for a year, but due to the epidemic, the class did not take off, and the investment was lost.
After that, I found several jobs in succession. One was teaching children to paint in Shenzhen, with a monthly salary of 6,000 yuan. I calculated that it was not enough to pay off my debts and refused it.
In August 2022, a classmate introduced me to a job as a art teacher at a private school in Luzhou, Sichuan, with a minimum monthly salary of 12,000 yuan. Initially, I was a professional teacher. I taught sketching, but not very well, so I was transferred to administrative work. A year later, I was dismissed by the new school principal. I knew this would be the result early on, because there were several times when the leaders said in meetings that they wanted to expel me, but it was the former principal who kept me.
In the past few years of university, I have tried many things, It seems that these things were all short-lived. At that time, I was full of confidence, but in the end, none of them succeeded. I think the main reason for these debts is the failure of investment, coupled with my blind consumption. I find myself too busy and don't have time to use those precious painting materials. I gave all those expensive pigments and brushes to a classmate named Li Zhiliang because I thought he painted well. These things would be wasted with me. Becoming a painter seems to be a dream once again.
I remember when I was admitted to CAFA, someone left a message online saying to me, "Security guard, you will find out when you go to university, life is difficult in all walks of life, even graduates from Tsinghua and Peking University face difficulties." My parents also advised me to be careful and not be too complacent. They said that getting into university is nothing, making money is what counts.
Now I am wandering outside, driving my modified old man's electric scooter, doing travel media, and making a living by live streaming. I film people on the journey who are in similar situations as myself, hoping to seize opportunities again through the internet and change my fate. Recently, I changed the name of my travel media account from "City Traveler" to "CAFA Wandering Brother." My fans just found out that I once studied at a university in Beijing.
I haven't painted for a long time, but I haven't given up either. I have been thinking about these things. When traveling, I bring books with me and sometimes watch other people's live broadcasts of painting. It's not that I don't like these things anymore, it's just that they have become a skill of mine, part of my own accomplishment, a personal talent—although this ability is not strong.
Some people say that my university experience has erased my artistic ideals, but at this moment, I cannot agree. Looking back over these years, I feel that university has not deprived me of anything; instead, it has given me a lot of insights. If I hadn't attended CAFA in my life, how would I have had the opportunity to come into contact with those pigments and brushes? How would I know how to appreciate a Chinese painting? Now, even if I can't paint, I can still understand these paintings, and that's the reward.
When I first started painting, I felt that I must become a painter in the future. Since junior high school, when I learned about CAFA, I decided that I must pass the entrance exam for CAFA. When I set my mind on something, I must do it, no matter the cost.
Someone asked me why I didn't work harder to surpass my classmates later on? Actually, I knew I couldn't surpass them, because I am not very smart. Now I just feel that life doesn't need to be compared with others. Dreams are in my own heart. keep going to pursuit my interesting things.
Recently, a video of a disabled man without arms being stopped by subway staff in Wuhan, asking him to show his disability certificate for free passage, has sparked the attention, anger, and confusion of many netizens.
The man in the video, Mr. Li, is a disabled person without arms. At the time of the incident, he was to ride the subway and wanted to use the barrier-free passage for free passage but was stopped by subway staff and asked to show his disability certificate.
Mr. Li calmly negotiated with the staff, saying that his physical condition clearly indicated that he was a disabled. He tole them that he did not bring the certificate because it would be inconvenient to carry it with him even if he did, so could he be exempt from showing the disability certificate. However, he was clearly told by the staff that it was not acceptable without proof, and he must undergo an inspection before being allowed to pass.
Then, someone asked the subway staff, "What is the purpose of checking the certificate?" The staff member replied emphatically: "To confirm that the passenger is disabled!" The greatest evil of human nature is to make things difficult for others to the greatest extent in one's own small world!
In this incident, Mr. Li, a disabled person with visible missing arms, was not allowed to pass. In the end, he had to buy a ticket and use his feet to swipe the card to pass through the ticket gate.
Many netizens are particularly speechless about this matter. Everyone thinks that this rule of only looking at the certificate and not the person is really ironic and clearly an unreasonable rule. Moreover, Mr. Li's physical defect of having no arms is so obvious, yet the staff completely ignored it, only adhering to the rules. Is this not lacking in understanding and compassion, and too procedural and institutionalized? They wonder if a normal person carries a disability certificate, can they also pass for free?
This incident has sparked widespread attention and discussion. Many people are dissatisfied and angry with the subway's actions, believing that they lack respect and care for the disabled.
Under the pressure of public opinion and media exposure, the subway authority finally apologized and admitted its mistake. They stated that the staff's handling of the incident was inadequate and that they would strengthen employee training and the construction of facilities for the disabled, hoping for supervision from the whole society to ensure that similar incidents do not occur again.
However, this apology does not seem to satisfy the majority of netizens. Everyone still believes that this rule and the on-site handling by the staff are too rigid. The official apology was also very perfunctory manner. Moreover, attributing this matter to the staff is even more wrong practice of shirking official responsibility.
In fact, the subway staff were diligent in following company rules, but rules are dead, people are alive, and this rule is not reasonable. So, in the face of rigid rules, can't we be more humane in our work, show more humanity, and make exceptions for special cases rather than believe in adhering to the rigid rules, but can't they, out of kindness, help others swipe the card?
However, just when everyone thought the matter was over, a bigger surprise occurred. An official from the Wuhan Disabled Persons' Federation pointed out that "only recognizing the certificate and not the person" is a rule, and there was nothing wrong with the subway staff's behavior.
This response has been ridiculed by more netizens. No wonder they say, "The disability certificate is free, but the disabled are not free; recognizing the certificate and not the person, I'm confused." "What's a heartless organization, such an institution should be abolished."
Overall, this incident serves as a reminder of the importance of balancing rules and compassion in decision-making, and the need for continuous reflection and improvement in how we treat and support each other in society. Otherwise, I am wondering who are the real disabled person?
We all hope to have a stable and decent job. Compared to the constant layoffs in major factories, where for many people aged 30 to 35 who are forced into unemployment, while the "iron rice bowl" means a stable job that is almost never lost. The older generation has a unique persistence towards the "iron rice bowl". Nowadays, young people who choose to "lie flat" are also increasingly flocking to the "iron rice bowl," because holding this bowl can ensure a worry-free life.
Recently, a list of the "Top Ten Iron Rice Bowls" selected by me through computing been completed as following:
10th place: State-owned banks
State-owned banks may not be as prestigious as before, but they still offer a fairly stable job, at least it is guaranteed after entering. However, the workload for grassroots employees is high, and the treatment is the lowest in the system, but if you stick with it, there are always opportunities for promotion and salary increases.
9th place: Three major telecom operators: China Mobile, China Unicom, and China Telecom.
With the advent of the Internet era, everyone needs communication services, making the jobs at these operators more stable.
8th place: State Grid Corporation of China
The State Grid is the backbone of basic industries, and electricity is indispensable from factories to households, so the requirements are high and the treatment is excellent, making it one of the careers many people aspire to.
7th place: University teachers
University teachers have many advantages: they enjoy a high social status and good salary. Many university teachers only need to teach one or two classes a week, and the rest of the time is free. There is also no restriction on part-time jobs, and many teachers have their own companies with a lot of resources.
6th place: Military civilian personnel
The work of military civilian personnel in the army not only has a small workload and good salary, but also a stable job nature. In recent years, it has become a highly sought-after new "iron rice bowl."
5th place: Government institutions
Although the career has a clear ceiling, the light workload is a major advantage, and the welfare benefits are also quite good.
4th place: Primary and secondary school teachers
Primary and secondary school teachers are highly respected in society, and the three-month long vacation is also a major highlight of this profession, especially for women, it is an ideal choice.
As it said that nowadays, men's dream is to become a civil servant and marry a female teacher; while women's dream is to become a teacher and then marry a civil servant.
3rd place: Civil servants
The establishment of civil servants has always been the goal pursued by many people. They have a high social status, and although the competition is fierce, once you enter, you can enjoy a relatively stable career through your life.
2nd place: Hospital doctors
This is a highly sought-after "iron rice bowl". If you are a doctor, you will be highly respected wherever you go.
1st place: China Tobacco
As a state monopoly industry, China Tobacco operates in an integrated manner, monopolizing the entire chain of the cigarette industry, becoming a true "money-making master." Unlike other industries, the whole tobacco system has almost not been affected by economic downturns, because no matter how the economy fluctuates, people's demand for cigarettes remains strong. This makes the tobacco system a true "golden rice bowl."
Overall, these "iron rice bowl" industries each have their own advantages, providing stable income and good welfare benefits is their main common characteristics. Perhaps they are not as eye-catching as some popular professions, but in uncertain times, more and more people choose to return to the "iron rice bowl" in China.

The U.S. Badminton Open is one of the BWF World Tour Super, known for its high prestige.
At just 20 years old, Pi Hongyan was considered quite young in the badminton circuit. Expectations for her weren't high; people simply hoped she could perform steadily and achieve decent results. However, in a surprising turn of events, Pi excelled in the competition and clinched the championship, bringing new honor to the Chinese national team!
Having secured a world championship for the national team, one might think Pi's position within the team would be solidified. However, upon returning home, she was shocked to learn that she had been dismissed from the national team. The coach pointed out that Pi's style of play had limitations unsuitable for larger stages. Additionally, her height of only 164 cm put her at a disadvantage in women's badminton, where the average height is over 170 cm.
In fact, height isn't an absolute advantage or disadvantage in badminton. For instance, Gong Zhichao, the women's singles champion at the 2000 Olympics, stood at just 163 cm, even shorter than her!
Pi Hongyan had been passionate about badminton since she started playing at the age of 8. She was determined to become an excellent badminton player, represent her country in competitions, and bring home championships to honor her nation.
After graduating from high school, she joined the national team for professional training. Surrounded by more outstanding individuals, she realized she had to work harder to avoid being surpassed. After over two years of rigorous training, Pi finally got her chance.
In 1999, she had the opportunity to represent her country in a competition in the United States. This elite tournament attracted top players from around the world, creating immense pressure. For Pi, participating in such a massive event for the first time was incredibly challenging.
However, she remained calm during the competition, adapting her strategy, and ultimately succeeded, winning the world championship. Achieving such remarkable results on her first national appearance at just 20 years old surprised and excited herself.
Seeing her dream getting closer, she felt proud. However, the joy didn't last long as she was soon expelled from the national team.
Since starting badminton at 8, she had always dreamed of becoming an outstanding player. Now, coaches were telling her she had to stop playing.
At that time, Pi Hongyan was often in low spirits, exhausted from training, and often doubted her abilities. She couldn't muster the energy for anything, and her performance plummeted dramatically. If this continued, she would soon be forgotten.
Just as she was on the brink of despair, a Danish opponent she had defeated appeared before her, praising her skills and expressing a desire to invite her to Denmark. This news was a huge encouragement for her, and she decided to go to Denmark.
There, she picked up her racket again. She believed that being unable to play simply because of her height was unbelievable. She threw herself into training like a madwoman. Her efforts paid off, and every time she played for the team, she achieved great results.
Because of outstanding performance on the court, she attracted a lot of attention. Many countries invited her, hoping she would come to their country. At this point, Pi Hongyan had become a celebrity in the badminton world, attracting attention from everyone, with many seeking interviews and watching her matches.
Among several countries, she ultimately chose France. In France, Pi Hongyan reached the peak of her career. At 164 cm tall, she dominated the court, winning over a dozen world-class championships. Her world ranking even reached second place, making her the second most prestigious player in the world after Olympic champion Zhang Ning. Running toward her youth, she realized her dream of playing badminton.
After retiring from the sport in 2012, she chose to become a badminton coach, passing on her experience and skills to the younger generation of players, contributing to the development of badminton in France.
She fell in love with a French sailor, and now the family of four number live happily together. Except taking care of her two chidren, Pi Hongyan took advantage of her spare time to improve her education and eventually successfully obtained a master's degree in management. She not only devoted herself to sports but also had plans to manage her own company. She believed that with her efforts, this dream could also become a reality.
Run towards her ideals, with no regrets in her youth.
Pesticide residues are more ferocious than tigers! This is actually an important factor behind the overcrowding of hospitals and the proliferation of pharmacies. Once you're sick and in the hospital, you become a commodity, and the entire medical process becomes a business operation.
Let me tell you this, a dog can guard the door, can bite people; you can give it bones but not meat, but you cannot starve it, and you definitely cannot drive it away. If it's hungry, it will bite your children, and if it's driven away, it will bring thieves to your door through its hole. That's why public officials cannot be easily dismissed.
Except for chefs, what other professions cannot be replaced by computer technology? Take spinning as an example. In the past, it took a thousand workers to produce ten thousand spindles of yarn. Now, it only requires seven people. With technological development, many industries no longer need as much manpower, which is the main source of unemployment.
Nowadays, the craftsmen of great nations are all on live streams, such as TikTok, and delivery apps. Technology needs to be accumulated and refined. In this age of materialism, everyone wants to make quick money, so platforms like TikTok and live streaming are popular. Some people become famous overnight, gaining huge traffic and wealth, which makes it difficult for people to calm down and focus on developing skills.
I work on a bridge construction site. I see people with construction engineer certificates not organizing construction, but those who do organize the construction are outstanding migrant workers.
Graduates are not craftsmen; they may become engineers. Nowadays, most university professors are PhDs or post-docs, but many of them have never actually worked in engineering. These people cannot cultivate craftsmen! Ordinary engineering colleges are not the places to cultivate craftsmen!
In fact, have you ever thought that maybe the country doesn't need technical workers? With the popularization of industrial robots, cluster operations are being eliminated.
Soon, there won't be anyone learning mechanical processing. It takes time to cultivate skills. It's not something you can learn in a year or two, not something you can immediately do after graduating from a technical college. Theory is not equal to practice.
You treat me like a worker, and I'll repay you like a worker.
You treat me like a craftsman, and I'll repay you like a craftsman.
A real man's ambition is to travel far and wide. To earn money to support the family, I came to Beijing to work. Once, while walking on the street, I was labeled a blind flow. Without listening to my explanation, I was arrested and spent a night in Changping, then escorted from Beijing station to Xuzhou. I paid one thousand yuan in Xuzhou. After coming out, I immediately bought a ticket back to Beijing from Xuzhou. Otherwise, what would I do if I gave up halfway in Beijing? This is a real experience that is vivid in my mind. At that time, I had no choice but to do so.
In a tea house, there is a saying, "I love our country too, but who loves me?"
A professor of law at a university said in class, "Nowadays, major cases focus on overall considerations, medium cases look at their social impact, and minor cases depend on personal relationships."
After hearing these words, a student angrily threw his book on the ground and asked loudly, "When will the law be truly valued?"
The professor calmly replied, "Child, please pick up your book. We will delve into the law in depth during the exam!"
As long as you are bold, you can sell anything at a high price! As long as you are fat, you can get anything from others! If you are timid, you will be poor for life! If you are quiet, no one will pay attention to you!
I often see others say, "You can doubt the character of a rich person, but you cannot doubt their vision."
There is a difference between leftover women and leftover men. Leftover women: It's like being in a super clothing store, picking and choosing, although your eyes get tired, continuously picking and picking, and it's almost dark without finding anything satisfactory. As a result, the store closes, leaving you behind. These girls are referred to as leftover women. while Leftover men: Among those repeatedly picked and chosen, the remaining men are referred to as leftover men!
Leftover women are like a fruit seller's foods. At first, the fruit is five yuan per kilogram, and customers quickly buy the best ones. As it sells less and less, the fruit seller doesn't want to sell anymore and raises the price to ten yuan per kilogram. The remaining fruit is of poor quality, and there are fewer customers, but some still buy some. By night, there are only a few rotten and moldy fruits left, but the fruit seller now has money and wants to eat them himself, so he decides not to sell them and raises the price to one hundred yuan per kilogram. These rotten, moldy, insect-infested fruits sold for one hundred yuan per kilogram are called leftover women.
You're thinking too much. Leftover men and leftover women rarely intersect. Leftover men are basically those with really poor conditions, the kind of men that no woman would pick. Apart from those who simply don't want to get married, they can't strictly be considered leftover women. True leftover women want to get married but haven't met someone they think is suitable. The reason is that their own conditions are not bad, but they overestimate themselves. What others see as suitable, they think is beneath them, and they think those they consider suitable wouldn't be interested in them, so they end up alone. Also, blind comparison is another reason. For example, if their best friend finds a high-quality man, they wouldn't accept anyone less than what their friend found. In their minds, they are not inferior to their friend. As for how others judge the difference between them, they don't accept it.
There's nothing wrong with being a leftover woman. People live independently and not just to follow the crowd. Everyone has the right to choose their own way of life. Not every leftover woman is a gold digger; they just haven't met the right person. Is it wrong to be single? They haven't eaten your rice, so they don't have to deal with bad men. Leftover men don't want to spend a penny on marriage; they want a free, paid babysitter to bear children for them. They're dreaming.
Most of the leftover men are basic workers, and most of the leftover women have ideological issues.
May I ask how much you earn? Leftover women have high salaries and education levels. Are there men with higher salaries and education levels than them? Not only are there, but there are also plenty! Why are these so-called highly educated and highly paid women still single? If there really was a man willing to marry them, it would probably take more than a few cows to pull them back, right? Despite this, they are still described as highly educated and highly paid. How about high age, high blood pressure, high blood sugar, and high fat? Despite this, they still think leftover men have low salaries and they still have a strange sense of self-satisfaction.
Han Chinese are different from other ethnic groups. They don't have love between the sexes, so there are only various material and utilitarian calculations between them.
Most leftover men know they have been left behind, while most leftover women don't know they have been left behind! In terms of mentality, perhaps men are more realistic, while women are more helpless...
Could it be that it's not because of being left behind by the so busying matchmaker that they are left over?
Leftover women, some are hurt and don't want to settle, insisting on true love. Some are like monkeys moving corn, always thinking the next one is better, picking and choosing, and before they know it, they're old. There are also those who prefer a BMW's tears to a bus's laughter. They tried their best to get on the BMW but were squeezed out by younger ones. Between the revolving BMWs, time doesn't wait, they're no longer young or pure, and people are disgusted with them, leaving them behind. Leftover men, a very small part want true love, but most just aren't mentally strong enough, and their efforts aren't persistent enough.
Many leftover women are picky when they're young, but as they get older, they want men with higher incomes. However, if a man has a high income, he might as well go for a younger woman. It's like, "I like someone, but they don't like me. Someone likes me, but I don't like them," so they remain single.
Leftover women create their own situation; leftover men are naturally filtered out by life. Different formations, same outcome, both "leftover."
Nobody wants to be a leftover man or woman; it's caused by various factors such as gender imbalance, social disparity, bad luck, and lack of certain types of love. Regardless of gender, nobody wants to be left behind; everyone wants a fulfilling life.
Leftover men and women are ordinary people, but if a man earns less than a woman, then he's out of luck. Is that the case with leftover men?
It starts with an overestimation of oneself, dazzled at the peak, and then falling into a valley! Fortunately, there is a large population base that can accommodate one hundred million leftover women, otherwise, our nation would be extinct.
Leftover men also have their preferences! Not all men can be compatible with lower standards! Some men still want to climb higher branches.
Most leftover men are probably left because they are poor, while leftover women have indeed made themselves left over.
90% of ordinary women cannot pick elite men, nor do 90% of ordinary men. 90% of ordinary men are willing to pick ordinary women, but no one chooses for them.
Leftover women are women who can't see themselves clearly and don't understand men. Leftover men are men who are poor and understand women.
Men being single is because of their abilities, while women being single is because of their thoughts.
Men are left because they are poor, so to get out of being single, they must first get out of poverty; women are left because they are ugly, so to get out of being single, they must first undergo plastic surgery.
Leftover women are women with unsatisfactory conditions, average looks, but still have a good self-image. Leftover men have two reasons: no money and poor communication skills.
Leftover women see themselves as commodities! If no one wants them, they are left!
One has personal issues, the other has conditional issues; most leftover women are outstanding, while most leftover men are flawed.
The problem is that most men prefer to marry a young and beautiful woman who is gentle, even if her income is not high.
In short, it's still that sentence: men who meet her standards are not interested in her age, and men who don't meet her standards, she's not interested in. Unable to settle for less, wanting true love, it's better to remain beautiful alone. Because she can't let go of her pride, even if she gets married, if the man is not capable enough, it will result in divorce. It's not just because she's getting older; her values are also the problem.
A new car just came out, and you say it's for sale for 500,000. There might still be someone willing to buy it. But if the car has been sitting for over ten years, and you still ask for 500,000! Are you stupid, or do you think others are?
Generally speaking, men don't want to marry women who are more capable than them. The core advantage of women is youth and beauty. As for her family background, social resources, education, and work, these are just additional values. Youth and beauty are the main factors, especially since being young and beautiful doesn't mean she's not outstanding. When her strength is equal to or higher than his, he will not be interested in her; he will definitely prefer to choose the best beauty and find a younger one. The problem is, most men are preference to marry a gentle, young, and beautiful woman, even if her income is not high.
Do leftover men and women still need to compare? What's the point of comparing? It's all personal choice, do you still need to divide it into high and low, noble and base? Isn't that ridiculous? During the process of dating or matchmaking, even if you are rejected many times, don't be too discouraged and keep your confidence. If someone rejects you, it just means they don't approve of you, not that everyone else won't approve of you.
